Lion

I have so many ideas and not enough time! I've been wanting to make a lion for a long time - and here he is! Based on a fuzzy mitten pattern (who writes the best knitted stuffed animal patterns ever), I'm still not sure he is 'lion-like' enough. Next time, I'll position his ears on the side of his head more, and maybe make his snout narrower.

Anyway, he's soft and cuddly - he's knit from warm brown fuzzy alpaca, and I hope somebody loves him enough to take him home. He's in my Woolies shop. I hope you like him!

Pacific Ocean!

We got away for a few days this past weekend. We haven't been anywhere in over a year, and we needed to get away. My friend Cathy watched my animals for me (it's hard to get away when you have 10 animals), and did such a wonderful job.

So where did we get away to?? San Diego! The Pacific Ocean! Sea World! Here's some pics for you....

Seagull at sunset.

Shamu at Sea World says hello!

My younger son on the rocks at La Jolla. You cannot even imagine how breathtaking.

OK, I have loads of laundry, and worked at my day job like a crazy person today, and have knitting and a custom fabric doll to make.

Have a great evening!!
