Kit!

I've been dying to make my own felt - I promise to post a tutorial on how to wet felt your own felt to use for crafts. Anyway, I finally did this past weekend.

OK< so now what? Just use it to make my own little felt creatures? Patterns, tutorials, kits - all sell really well on Etsy. So I put a kit together. Included is my hand-made 100% wool felt and everything else you need to make a little mousie.

It's available in my Woolies shop, so come on over and visit! Get Crafty!

Meecie Mice

Just wanted to share these little guys; they are part of a wholesale order, my very first.

They are Edward and Tessa, brother and sister. Edward is very protective of his little mousie sister, and sometimes even agrees to come to her tea parties. (It might be the little salad sandwiches that she serves..). Tessa adores her big brother, and has been known to follow him around the neighborhood. Which does not always make their Mommy mouse happy, as following Edward around usually requires climbing through holes and dusty garages, resulting in a not very clean dress!

But Mommy mouse smiles as she does the laundry, knowing that her mousie children are happy and together.

These little mice are adapted from a pattern by fuzzymitten, with quite a few liberties taken. Used with permission.
