Hand knit stuffed animals, and their pictures

Once again, it's been proven what an incredibly lousy photographer I am. It's the lighting.

I made these mice as part of a Woolies wholesale order. I took pics, sent them to my buyer, then she took pics and put them up on her site.

Ah, it's never-ending. The photography issue, that is. I never seem to have enough light, although I have a light-box and 2 photography lights on either side. The table is set up right next to a window - lots of natural light as well.

Better Pics?

I'm not happy with the pics of my pendants on buster and boo. The pendants don't POP off of the page, as I would like them to.
I'm going to do 2 things today -
1. investigate my camera - macro settings? Is it focused on the background rather than the foreground?
2. going to change what I'm using for the background. going to use either glossy paper, or maybe even sheet music.
