New Woolies Sheepie

There is a wonderful knitting designer called fuzzymitten. She gave me permission to sell stuffed animals made from her patterns, long ago. Which is awesome, cause her patterns are the best. She just came out with a new one, that is just too adorable. Meet Annabelle! She's available in my shop. (just had to share)

Ginormous Spider

I have a little tiny office. It has a nice sized window, looks out on the front of my property, nice and shady.

I was sitting here working yesterday (I have a 'day' job, in addition to my Etsy shops, and I get to work from my home, quite awesome) when something caught my eye. It was crawling up the screen, outside my CLOSED window. EEEK

I think it is a juvenile tarantula.

I'm not sure I'll ever get used to living in the wild west.

Dog Play

Why bother to make the bed? These silly dogs are just going to jump all over it and roll around and root under the covers. These two are Buster and Boo, for which I named my newest shop.

Boo loves to climb all over Buster, and he doesn't care at all. She's a girl, and he's a boy, so it's not what you may think.....

Boo is a peekapoo (pekinese/poodle mix, still a puppy, bought from a neighbor). Buster came from a rescue when he was a puppy, he is half springer spaniel, half we don't know what.
Silly dogs.

Teenagers

I have two teenage boys.

My 15 year old used my computer last night, and left his 'livejournal' open, along with about 5 other windows (myspace friends, etc). I was closing each one, when I came to the livejournal one. This site is like a diary, that your friends can read (only the friends that you choose). I read it, I'm sorry. I only glanced at the first post...but then it was like a train wreck that I couldn't walk away from.
He's lied to us. About a lot of things.
I'm going to have to confront him.
I understand the 'moving away' from your family thing. It's part of growing up. But does it have to be? I have always tried to be the non-judgemental kind of parent. The "you can talk to me about anything" type of parent. The only time I ever punish him (by taking away the computer) is when he is SO totally disrespectful to us that I can't take it anymore.
He's not talking to me, about the things that matter.

My other son, who will be 13 next week, is also having problems. School is out, and he's decided to not leave his room. He won't call friends.....and he only really has one friend. 7th grade was a difficult time for him.

Not sure what to do. With either one.
Is this blog all of a sudden becoming my 'livejournal'?
Has anybody been through this? Feel free to comment....

Found on Etsy

I love primitive art. I have an original done a long time ago,
bought a long time ago, it is one of my most favorite
possessions. Today I found a primitive style artist
on Etsy. His name is Walt Curlee. You can visit his
shop here. His work is amazing, and speaks for
itself, so I will just let you enjoy.
