Tohono Chul Holiday Lights
What a great craft fair - that really isn't a craft fair.
Tohono Chul Park, in Tucson, Arizona, is a combination arboreteum, native american-sonoran desert, tea room, native plant store, that is not a store at all. For 4 nights in the beginning of the holiday season, the park is decorated in lights. There is live music and a celebration.
With just a few vendors, it's great fun! My friend Kathy brings a few goaties and an angora bunny.
Tonight is the last night for the event, leaving shortly!

Wild bunnies!
We have lots of wild cottontail bunnies. They're all over the place. Unfortunately, so are coyotes, hawks and bobcats. Not so safe for the bunnies!
Bunnies like it at our house, because we have lots of hay, for our horses. But it blows around, and there's always some loose hay, and it's yummy to bunnies!
Of course, in the spring, there are babies. This year, some new bunny holes appeared right near our horse arena. There were two babies, now I'm only seeing one. He/she? is the friendliest of bunnies. He's been known to fall asleep during riding lessons, sleeping right next to whoev
er is watching the lesson. Yesterday evening, I was able to get some really cute pictures of this half-grown bunny.

In honor of 100 Posts
Today was a day of one hundreds.

Little Elf's Toyshop - Giveaway!!
When I first joined Etsy over a year ago, Little Elf's Toyshop was one of the first shops I 'discovered'. And one of the first shops that I purchased something from - an adorable polymer clay pony. Little Elf continues to astound me with her work.
Elfie has graciously offered one of her needle felted sculptures as a giveaway. If you are not familiar with needle felting, it is the art of stabbing wool roving (wool before it has been spun into yarn) with a barbed needle, thereby 'felting' the wool fibers. You have to be VERY careful to NOT stab yourself, it hurts (I know from experience). But it's very fun, and if you're very talented, you can create work like this:

Get Dressed!
Polly was purchased by a really lovely customer in Canada, but she did not want a naky bunny bun, so Polly got dressed. Had to show you the final picture, before she hopped into a mailer and went to the post office!
