Coyote Den?

Just maybe 50 yards (I'm really bad at guessing distances) from my horse stalls, we found this.

If you look closely you can see the paw prints all around. This is one BIG hole. Most definitely not rabbit, or pack rats.

Maybe bobcat?

It's not on our property - it's on a piece of property that I hope nobody ever builds on.

Dozer (one of my horses) is rather concerned about it.

I'll let you know if I see any coyote pups soon!

I'm so jealous! I want so badly to live out in the country again.

Very cool. I haven't seen a den before. It is baby season though.

Wow, you are really, truly in the desert. I realize this looking at all those cacti! I would love to visit...and we have coyote here too...we find paw prints all the time...they eat small dogs and chickens. :(

Where is this exactly? We have dens like this and both our dogs were attacked and the top photo looks exactly like my property and so does the horse corral.

@Meara - I cannot contact you as there is no email information. This is on our property - those are my horse stalls, my horse, my husband, in the picture. We live NW Tucson. Hope this helps!
